Yea! Halloween is here!  Rhett will be Yoda (of course) and a skeleton.  There is a need for 2 costumes because we are going to Boo at the Zoo and Trick or Treating and the party at the gym (with lots of hand sanitizer – see my previous post).  In case you did not already know, I am a geek so yes, I am dressing up – as Padame!  For those of you who are culturally challenged, Padame, aka Queen Amidala, is Princess Leia and Luke’s mother, Anakin’s wife. 

Call me a geek but my son will appreciate it one day!

Okay, although I am a paranoid mom in many ways, I have never been one to worry about the current epidemic out there or the current health concern. I have always had a strong immune system and rarely get sick other than the occasional headach/stomachache and allergy attack. However, now that I am a mommy I have to say that I am afraid. Rhett is only 15 months old this week and he is not as strong as I am. So, with the H1N1 obtaining more victims I am changing my patterns.

Rhett is not going to go to the tot stop at the gym becuase his health is more important than how much I jiggle. Some think i am being paranoid but no one expects their child to get it and it only takes one kid at the tot stop to have it. Its just not worth it.

My husband and I are also going to wash our hands more when we are outside the house and more at home. It is worth it to be a bit paranoid and to take the extra steps.
